 Arts Queensland - Individuals Fund

The Individuals Fund is for individual artists and cultural workers (emerging and established) to participate in transformational professional and career development opportunities. Applications can be made for funding up to $10 000 closing 3 pm on 12 April 2016.

 

Arts Queensland – Queensland Arts Showcase Program

The Queensland Arts Showcase Program provides funding to support individuals, organisations or collectives to deliver vibrant and accessible arts and cultural experiences for Queensland. The funding is administered across three streams:

Arts Ignite – funding of up to $60 000 for new works

  • Arts Illuminate – funding of up to $100 000 to secure acclaimed artists that will engage the community and build local capacity

  • Arts Impact – funding of up to $60 000 for diverse arts and cultural experiences for Queensland

Applications can be made at any time.

 

Churchill Fellowships

The aim of The Winston Churchill Memorial Trust is to provide an opportunity for Australians to travel overseas in search of new ideas, innovation and excellence! No prescribed qualifications are required and the subject of the proposed project is limitless provided a benefit to Australia is evident. Applications close 15 May 2016.

 

2016 Queensland Reconciliation Awards

The 2016 Queensland Reconciliation Awards are open for nomination closing 21 March 2016. The awards program offers a total prize pool of $25,000 across five categories: Business, Education, Community, Partnership and an overall Premier’s Reconciliation Award.

 

QUT Creative Enterprise Australia – Startup Weekend
QUT Creative Enterprise Australia is hosting Australia's first Startup Weekend for Creative Tech on 18 – 20 March 2016. Startup Weekend is a 54-hour event where hackers (e.g. coders), hustlers (e.g. entrepreneurs) and hipsters (e.g. designers) from creative and tech come together to make their business idea a reality.

 

Ministry of the Arts - Catalyst

Catalyst is the Australian Government's new funding program for the arts. It will invest $12 million each year in innovative projects and initiatives from arts and cultural organisations. Projects by, or that involve, small to medium organisations will be given priority. The fund may also support some gallery, library, archive, museum, arts education and infrastructure projects. Applications can be made at any time.

 

Australia Council for the Arts – grants and residencies

The next round of Development Grants for Individuals and Groups, Arts Projects for Individuals and Groups and Arts Projects for Organisations close 7 June 2016.
