Livingstone Shire council area

Livingstone Local Government Area has an established and active arts and cultural scene. Galleries and Museums are dotted throughout the Shire and, with a very active Keppel Coast Arts Council, many community activities are undertaken including arts markets, arts development workshops and music and drama performances.

Livingstone Shire Council’s Library Arts and Culture Unit has been actively developing partnerships with other organisations such as Keppel Coast Arts, Fitzroy River Coastal Catchment, Landcare, ABC Open and schools. They also offer workshops, films and performance opportunities on the coast as well as to the outlying areas of the Shire (e.g. Marlborough and The Caves).
