Write About Art Senior students from across Queensland are invited to participate in Arts Queensland's Write About Art competition. The competition requires students to submit an essay, interview or feature story about art or design. To get involved, register online by 29 August 2008. Entries close 17 October 2008. Youth Arts Queensland (YAQ) is a not-for-profit, membership-based organisation. YAQ represents and promotes a diverse and thriving youth arts sector in Queensland. From festivals to multi-arts workshops, performances and exhibitions, young people from a diversity of places, cultures, and communities are participating in and creating their own arts and cultural experiences.
