Creative Communities - framework
The Queensland Government supports arts and cultural activities in communities throughout Queensland.
Some of the organisations and initiatives funded in 2008-2009 by the Queensland Government include:
production of COSMOS, a new large-scale musical production showcasing Charleville's cultural heritage development and touring of the exhibition Beyond Palmer River Goldfields for community workshops to engage Cairns youth development of TreeLine, an inter-disciplinary eco-art program for 2010 FESTURI 2009, an annual nine-day multicultural festival on the Sunshine Coast engagement of professional ceramic artist Stephanie Outridge-Field Q150/Regional Arts Development Fund youth project Primates development and facilitation of an Indigenous Art and Culutral Project
