Queensland Theatre Company (QTC) is giving three young playwrights the opportunity to take part in its six-month, intensive Young Playwrights Program. People aged between 13 and 26 will be eligible to enter, with the writers selected in mid-May.

The program includes writing workshops at QTC facilitated by renowned directors, dramaturges and actors and professional script development culminating in a reading of each writer’s developed work by professional actors later in the year. The successful applicants will also attend play readings and productions.
