Education Queensland is looking for the best and brightest Year 9 and 10 students to take full advantage of the new Queensland Academies in 2008.

Aimed at high performing students, the Academies offer students the opportunity to interact with other bright students, state-of-the-art facilities, industry experience, the opportunity to fast track tertiary study, and individually mentored learning.

The three world-class academies – two in Brisbane and one to open on the Gold Coast in 2008 – focus on the creative industries, science, mathematics and technology, and health sciences.
