2007 Brisbane International Film Festival a box office smash |

Record ticket sales, a sell-out children's program and full houses on opening and closing nights have made the 2007 Brisbane International Film Festival (BIFF) the most successful in its 16-year history. Total ticket sales were up 10.2% compared to last year with 28 sell-out cinema sessions. The top ten films – as voted by audiences - were:
Cinesparks, BIFF's program for young people was a success with a number of films playing to packed out audiences. The recently expanded BIFF in the Burbs was very popular among families, with attendance numbers increasing by more than 200%. |
