Blockbuster summer at the Cultural Centre
Brisbane's Cultural Centre at South Bank is set for a busy summer

The booklet produced by Arts Queensland, has all you need to know about this one-stop lifestyle and cultural destination that offers an extraordinary array of entertainment – exhibitions, live performances and children’s activities, as well as unique dining and shopping experiences.

Boasting Australia's largest modern art gallery, the Gallery of Modern Art (GoMA), the State Library of Queensland, the Queensland Art Gallery, Queensland Museum South Bank and the Queensland Performing Arts Centre (QPAC), the Cultural Centre has attracted international praise and national awards for its accessibility, architecture and collections.

The Cultural Centre has recorded more than 3,441,500 visits since December last year, highlighting the strength and vibrancy of Queensland’s booming arts sector, its growing appeal as a cultural tourism destination and the crucial role the Cultural Centre plays as an international platform for state arts and culture.

Highlights at the Cultural Centre this summer include Andy Warhol at GoMA, The Phantom of the Opera at QPAC and activities for children and families at the State Library and Queensland museum including puppet shows, workshops, games and summer clubs.
