Arts Queensland and the Australia Council are offering Indigenous artists, healers and performance groups in Queensland the chance to be part of the 10^th Festival of Pacific Arts in American Samoa 20 July – 2 August 2008.

The festival celebrates the Indigenous cultures of the Pacific region and Arts Queensland and the Australia Council are seeking experienced artists in the areas of traditional and contemporary dance, music, theatre, literature, visual arts, craft and new media to be part of a national delegation of 30 people. Traditional healers and culinary artists are also encouraged to apply.

The Festival of Pacific Arts attracts delegates from 27 Pacific nations and features performances, presentations, forums and advocacy events during its 10 day program.

To apply you must complete an Expression of Interest and submit it to Arts Queensland by COB Wednesday 19 December 2007. To find our more visit Arts Queensland.
