Queensland College of Art student, Kelly Hussey-Smith is the Queensland Arts Council 2008 Photographer for a Year

The Photographer for a Year Scholarship is an innovative partnership between QAC and Queensland College of Art Griffith University (QCA) and has seen the development of significant mentorship in the area of photography.

Each year a small number of graduating photography students are selected to submit portfolios of their work at an interview with QAC and QCA staff.

Kelly will gain valuable professional experience through commissions to shoot a wide-range of promotional images for QAC during the next 12 months, with a possible expansion of work for the 2008 winner.
