In 2008 Brisbane Festival will host some of the world's best performing arts companies and deliver its largest program of performances.

This exciting festival, 18 July – 3 August 2008, will wow audiences with a sensational international program featuring artists from contemporary dance, opera, theatre and music, performing alongside outstanding Australian artists.

A number of performance and exhibition opportunities are also available to secondary school and university students including Big Square Eye, a multimedia artwork created by 15 young people that will be exhibited throughout the Festival.

Fifteen free workshops will be held in January and February next year and one participant from each workshop will be selected to work on the final DVD.
