Brisbane Festival's Big Square Eye

Brisbane Festival's Big Square Eye
Big Square Eye is coming

The Brisbane Festival is gearing up for 2008 by bringing together young Queenslanders, 16 – 20, to produce a DVD that explores the state's youth culture.

Big Square Eye consists of 15 free workshops, held in January and February next year, and one participant from each workshop will be selected to work on the final DVD.

In April, chosen participants will participate in a four-day workshop held in Brisbane to produce their own short (1-3 minutes) video or animation artwork, with the support of one of five media artists.

All 15 works will be compiled onto a DVD which will be exhibited at QUT Creative Industries Precinct, online and in retail outlets across Queensland as part of Brisbane Festival 2008.

To register your interest to attend one of the workshops, please email Vivian Hogg with 'BSEWorkshop' in the subject line. There are only 15 places available in each workshop.
