Next generation of stage stars in Brisbane

One of the biggest events on the state schools’ cultural calendar is the musical spectacular, Creative Generation - State Schools Onstage 2007.

This event, developed by the Department of Employment, Training and the Arts, plays a large role in preparing and training tomorrow’s artists.

In its third year, the show has evolved into a renowned educational and entertainment event of the highest professional standard, showcasing the wealth of Queensland state schools’ creative talent.

Creative Generation - State Schools Onstage 2007 will be held at the Queensland Performing Arts Centre Concert Hall over three performances from May 31 to June 1. It will include 550 state school performers from more than 50 schools across Queensland performing with a 70-piece orchestra, 220 dancers and a 220-voice choir.

The event is a key part of State Education Week 2007 at the end of May.
