Marian Drew was one of six Queensland contemporary photographers showcased at Photo LA in Los Angeles in January 2007.

Since then Luminous Lint, a website for collectors and connoisseurs of fine photography, has included for Ms Drew and her work.

Queensland’s involvement in Photo LA was organised by the Queensland Centre of Photography (QCP), and funded by Arts Queensland and the Australia Council, through its Visual Arts and Craft Strategy ($20,000); the Department of State Development and Trade’s Creative Industries ($19,250); and Queensland College of Art ($5000 and in-kind support).

Photo LA, established 15 years ago, is one of the largest and most established art fairs in the American market, bringing together more than 70 galleries and private dealers from around the world.

QCP is a non-profit organisation that facilitates photographic exhibitions, educational programs and publications.
