State Library of Queensland celebrates Reconciliation Week 2007

The kuril dhagun Indigenous Knowledge Centre at the State Library of Queensland will celebrate Reconciliation Week from May 28 to June 1 with workshops, film screenings, discussions and a barbeque.

The week will focus on what reconciliation is all about, how to work together and why it is important for all Australians to play an active role.

One of the highlights will be Singing for Reconciliation on May 29 at 6.30pm featuring Songlines Choir, a community choir which will facilitate a singing workshop and perform Indigenous Language and Sorry Day songs.
