Brisbane Producer Keeping It Cool

A Brisbane-based wildlife production company, Gulliver Media Australia, has signed a deal with prestigious global distributor National Geographic to find out if the penguin can survive global warming.

Voices of Antarctica is a 90-minute documentary for cinema release that will examine one of the world’s favourite birds as it faces its biggest environmental challenges.

The production and subsequent deal with National Geographic demonstrates the quality of documentary projects and talent coming out of the state.

The deal comes after a three-year production schedule that saw Gulliver Media’s film team travel to sub-Antarctic and Antarctic locations.

Production on Voices of Antarctica is expected to be completed by the end of this year.
