The Cairns Centre of Contemporary Art (COCA) is giving film lovers a veritable cinematic feast throughout May with the The World of Women (WOW) Film Festival and the return of starry nights cinema.

The WOW Film Festival's national tour will roll into town for one night only, 25 May, and treat festival viewers to award-winning films in a range of categories including fiction, drama and documentary.

The Flecker Botanic Gardens will be the perfect backdrop for a range of local and international films during Starry Night Cinema's May-November season. Pack a picnic and head along to Edge Hill to check out the timeless classics, quirky comedies and uniquely Australian films on offer.
