Musical 'we had to have' comes to Brisbane
Mike McLeish in the lead role of KEATING! the musical.

"The musical we had to have" is returning to Brisbane to showcase the rise (and fall) of one of Australia's most colourful political figures with biting hilarity.

KEATING! the musical continues its award-winning run at the QPAC Playhouse, following a record-breaking four sold-out seasons in Sydney, and numerous triumphs at the 2007 Helpmann Awards, including Best Musical, Best Direction of a Musical and Best Supporting Actor in a Musical.

An array of musical styles accompany Casey Bennetto's scathing lyrics as they tear through the Keating's political highs and lows in an artistic style which has been described as 'part French farce, part Greek tragedy', yet wholly Australian.
