In a busy month at QPAC, visitors are invited to join in the 'housewarming' celebration and experience an exclusive performance by one of the world's premier ballet companies. After the completion of QPAC's recent refurbishment, everyone is welcome to come along and take in the free outdoor entertainment and experience the stylish new food and beverage outlets. Also in June, The Paris Opera Ballet will present the Australian Premiere of Rudolf Nureyev's stunning production of La Bayadère with The Queensland Orchestra. One of the greatest and most spectacular stagings in the company's repertoire it showcases the magnificent ensemble. All 100 members will travel to Australia for the premiere event, exclusive to Brisbane. In the months ahead, the newly refurbished Concert Hall and Lyric Theatre will bring other major international acts to Queensland with performances from London (London Philharmonic Orchestra), New York (Broadway stars Patti Lupone and Mandy Patinkin) and Shanghai (Shanghai Philharmonic Orchestra).
