The Queensland Writer's Council will again partner with the Queensland Premier's Literary Awards 2009. One of Australia's richest and most diverse literary programs, the awards offer established and aspiring authors the opportunity to gain recognition in the literary community, as well as providing them with financial assistance.

Entries for the 2009 Queensland Premier's Literary Awards are now open, with the winners announced during the Brisbane Writers Festival in September. Hurry, nominations close 25 May 2009. Visit the website Queensland Premier's Literary Awards for further information.
