RADF Register of Training Providers and Consultants

Arts Queensland is establishing an online register of training providers and consultants available to provide training/consultancy services to council staff and advisory committees to councils participating in the Regional Arts Development Fund (RADF) program in Queensland.

What is the Regional Arts Development Fund?

RADF is a partnership between local and state government through Arts Queensland that supports professional and emerging professional artists and arts practitioners living in regional Queensland.

Each council has a nominated RADF Liaison Officer and convenes a RADF Committee comprised of local volunteers. The RADF program focuses on the development of quality art and arts practice for, and with, regional communities. RADF funding can also be used by councils to develop cultural policy, cultural mapping, visioning and planning proposals and to undertake training to strengthen the capacity of their RADF Committee to meet the goals of the local arts and cultural priorities.

Why a register?

Arts Queensland is committed to supporting training and development programs and services to support RADF Committees and Liaison Officers. A register is a simple way to give RADF Committees an opportunity to access a range of training providers and consultants to fulfil their training needs.

Who selects the training providers or consultants?

Arts Queensland does not use a process to pre-qualify these training providers and consultants. The register has been developed to assist RADF stakeholders to find potential training providers and consultants but does not recommend preferred suppliers. Councils are encouraged to contact training providers or consultants on the register that meet their own selection processes and are responsible for selecting and engaging training providers and consultants directly.
