Queensland Regional Arts and Culture Conference: artspeak 2009 Bursary

Purpose

Arts Queensland has funds to assist selected delegates to attend the Queensland Regional Arts and Culture Conference artspeak 2009 on 19 and 20 November and/or the RADF Forum on 18 November. The purpose of this bursary is to provide successful applicants with a contribution of up to $700 towards registration, travel and accommodation costs involved in attending artspeak 2009 and/or the RADF Forum.

We regret that applications to attend artspeak 2009 can not be made through the Career Development Grants program.

Criteria

Applicants will be ranked against the following criteria:

  1. The relevance of the professional development opportunity in relation to the applicant’s work, business and/or practice.
  2. The applicant’s ability and proposed plan to share information, insight and experience gained from attending artspeak 2009 and/or the RADF Forum with their organisation and/or community.
  3. Demonstration of how the applicant and his/her community will directly benefit from the themes covered in the Conference program.

Eligibility

  • Applicants must be Queensland residents or demonstrate benefit to Queensland.
  • Only one application per organisation (if relevant) will be considered. Councils are eligible organisations.
  • Personnel from organisations that receive s2m funding through Arts Queensland are not eligible to apply.

Outcome Report

A condition of this bursary is that you provide Arts Queensland with an Outcome Report within four (4) weeks of the conclusion of the Conference. A copy of the Outcome Report will be provided with your funding agreement.

Successful applicants will be required to provide a photo of themselves at the Conference and a brief description of their Conference experience suitable for publication on the Arts Queensland website and in other formats.
