Arts Queensland invites proposals from individuals and organisations for a new touring fund to bring fresh product and opportunities for Queensland's performing arts.

20 October 2009 - Premier announces new touring fund

Applications are open to all genres—music, dance, theatre workshops, residencies, youth arts activities—who have great product that can easily be toured and that will make an artistic impact on Queensland communities.

The vision for the touring fund is that a selection of the very best in arts experiences will be available to communities across the state. By enabling communities to choose what they'd like to host and what best suits their needs, there is the potential to enrich local arts practices and build new partnerships between artists and communities.

Proposals are welcomed from Queensland and interstate applicants seeking to tour performing arts product in Queensland in 2010 and 2011.

Closing date are 13 Nov for 2010 proposals and 26 February 2010 for proposals to tour in 2011.
