Development and Presentation Grants

Development and Presentation Grants (DPGs) support one-off collaborative projects that will result in excellent, innovative artistic work with public outcomes and benefits for Queensland communities.

Key Eligibility

This program is open to:

  • Individuals
  • Groups
  • Organisations
  • Local Government Authorities.

Your project must:

  • Be based in Queensland or directly benefit Queensland arts and culture.
  • Involve professional artists, arts workers or cultural workers.
  • Have financial or in-kind support from other sources.
  • The Heartlands initiative, part of the Development and Presentation Grants, provides funding for artist residencies in remote areas. The Heartlands initiative is a priority of Arts Queensland's artbeat: Regional Arts and Culture Strategy.

Available funds

Funding up to $50 000 per applicant is available.

Key dates

Round 1 closing date: 30 April 2012
Round 2 closing date: 31 August 2012

How to apply

  1. Read the DPG Guidelines (PDF, 201KB) and Grant Guidelines - Part B (PDF, 141KB) for eligibility.
  2. Complete the DPG application form. (DOC 815KB)
  3. Post four copies of the application form and support material to Arts Queensland.
