The QIAMEA Arts Partnership Program is a central element in marketing and exporting Queensland's Indigenous arts. The program aims to link artists more effectively to buyers by facilitating partnerships between Queensland Indigenous artists and reputable galleries, dealers, agents and festival and event organisers.
QIAMEA has achieved significant outcomes through implementation of this program which has returned direct economic benefits to artists and communities through increased sales, performance fees and positive media coverage.
Projects within the QIAMEA Arts Partnership Program represent strategic investments in initiatives to position Queensland as a significant provider of quality Indigenous arts in international markets.
In addition, QIAMEA's range of activities, such as gaining representation in institutional collections, raises the profile of Queensland Indigenous artists that, in turn, generates increased market interest and achieves additional indirect export sales.
