Arts Queensland Allocations to Councils for RADF

Auditor-General of Queensland Report to Parliament No.7 for 2008 Administration of Grants and Funding to Community Organisations by Local Government in Queensland: A Performance Management Systems Audit

A RADF Forum was held on 18 November, 2009 in Boonah as part of the artspeak: Regional Arts and Culture Conference hosted by the Scenic Rim Regional Council. The RADF Forum was facilitated by Dr Judy Pippen. RADF Forum Report (DOC 657KB)

The Regional Arts Development Fund Report (2011) reports on the distribution of funds and includes highlights of the program along with some case studies. Through the joint contributions of State and Local governments, RADF continues to achieve outstanding outcomes, including:

  • over 3000 arts and cultural development projects funded each year, with the majority of these delivered in local communities;
  • mobilising volunteerism, including more than 16 000 volunteers in 2008-09; and
  • employment for artists and arts workers. In 2008-09, more than 1600 artists and artsworkers were employed on RADF funded projects.
