Arts Queensland offers funding assistance to artists and arts organisations across a range of art forms to help develop arts practice and businesses and showcase the state's artists to the world. Funding for individuals, communities and organisations includes grants towards professional development, scholarships and fellowships.

Key funding to the state's flagship companies - Queensland Theatre Company; Queensland Ballet; Opera Queensland; and the Queensland Orchestra - assists the creation of artistic works for presentation and touring to state audiences. Small to medium companies and organisations also receive funding from Arts Queensland.
