The Queensland Arts Industry Sector Development Plan is a collaborative industry development framework for arts and culture throughout the State.

The first triennial Plan 2007-2009 was developed after extensive state-wide industry and community consultation and set a clear direction for government and the arts sector to work together to develop arts and culture in Queensland.

Evaluation

In late 2008, Arts Queensland undertook an evaluation of the Queensland Arts Industry Sector Development Plan. The evaluation created an invaluable opportunity for the arts and cultural sector to provide feedback to Arts Queensland and to share stories of success and progress towards the implementation of the Plan.

The evaluation employed a range of feedback methods, including an independently conducted online survey as well as focus groups, face-to-face meetings and written submissions.

The findings of the evaluation are available in a number of formats including publications and Powerpoint presentations that can be used by arts industry partners with their own organisations or stakeholders.
