The Queensland Government is a substantial investor in the arts in this State. Arts Queensland aims to capitalise on the State's unique cultural strengths and diversity, to develop areas with the greatest potential for growth and quality work and to enhance engagement with arts and culture.
Arts Queensland also assists artists and arts companies to take their work to audiences across Australia and the world. We support national and international artists to visit Queensland at events and festivals from Brisbane to the Torres Strait.
We do this by being an advocate for the arts; giving funding support to festivals, arts companies, public art projects, artists, artisans, writers and designers.
Arts Queensland provides funding to organisations, individuals and communities, grant recipients as well as funding public art projects across Queensland. For more information about funding programs
