Organisations Fund 2021 - 2024

Queensland Arts Showcase Program (QASP)

Supporting vibrant and accessible arts and cultural experiences for Queensland by individuals, organisations or collectives across three categories: Arts Impact, Arts Illuminate and Arts Ignite.

Individuals Fund

Supporting individual artists and cultural workers (emerging and established) to participate in transformational professional and career development opportunities.

Playing Queensland Fund (PQF)

Supporting performing and visual arts projects by Queensland artists and organisations that are ready to tour and have demonstrated community interest and demand. Includes activities targeted at schools and kindergartens in regional Queensland.

Regional Arts Development Fund (RADF)

Partnering with local government to invest in the local development of quality arts and arts practice for and with regional communities. View RADF case studies.

Indigenous Regional Arts Development Fund (IRADF)

Partnering with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities to ensure Indigenous communities in regional and remote areas of Queensland have access to arts and cultural services.

Artists in Residence Fund (AIR)

Artists in Residence funding supports regional Queensland schools and kindergartens to partner with artists and arts organisations to deliver innovative projects.  Funding for artists in residence projects is now available through the new Arts and Education stream of the Playing Queensland Fund which is open year round.

The standalone Artists in Residence Fund (AIR) has now closed.

Creative Sparks

Partnering with Brisbane City Council to support creative projects that enrich Brisbane's communities and develop the professional practice of local artists and cultural workers.

Regional Arts Fund (RAF)

An Australian Government initiative to benefit regional and remote arts practitioners, arts workers, audiences and communities through Community Project Grants and Quick Response Grants. Flying Arts Alliance Inc administers the Queensland Regional Arts Fund.

Supporting emerging musicians to establish a professional career.

Grant McLennan Fellowship

Providing an opportunity to travel to New York, London or Berlin to further develop artistic skills in an immersive music culture.

Arts Infrastructure Fund (AIF)

Supporting arts and cultural organisations to upgrade and improve the infrastructure that supports their work and practice. The Arts Infrastructure Fund concluded in March 2018.

Arts Leverage Fund

Promoting private sector giving by matching eligible cash sponsorship and philanthropy dollar for dollar, while leveraging government investment in Queensland-based arts and cultural organisations. The Arts Leverage Fund concluded in 2017 and is closed for new applicants.

Visual Arts and Crafts Strategy (VACS)

Partnering with the Australia Council for the Arts to increase the viability and vitality of Australia’s contemporary visual arts and craft sector in Queensland.
