Arts Queensland Peer Assessors
The independent peer assessment process is central to Arts Queensland’s equitable funding decisions. Peer Assessors review applications and make recommendations for Arts Queensland funding and provide advice on programs and policy and make a valuable contribution in supporting the Queensland arts and cultural sector.
Arts Queensland’s approach to peer assessment ensures a strong and collaborative approach that represents the diversity of Queensland communities, including diverse representation on peer assessment panels such as regional location and experience, peers who are Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander or from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, and peers who identify as d/Deaf or as a person with disability.
Following an Expression of Interest (EOI) process in early 2024 to recruit new Peer Assessors, all applications were reviewed and considered by an independent selection panel. All applicants have been informed of the outcome of their EOI, and successful Peers Assessors have now been inducted.
Peer Assessors are appointed for a period of up to 24 months. Please refer to the current list of Peer Assessors as follows:
