Birdhouse Cafe
With its large service window opening onto Brunswick Street, The Birdhouse is the resident cafe at The Judith Wright Arts Centre, serving up specialty coffee and delicious take away food. The display fridge and menu feature wraps, sandwiches, fresh salads, toasties and a selection of homemade treats including plenty of gluten-free and vegan options.
Domi and Remi, owners of The Birdhouse, started their journey in hospitality in 2018 when they opened their first cafe The Talking Toucan in New Farm. The Talking Toucan coffee beans, roasted on the Sunshine Coast, are also served at the Birdhouse. Domi and Remi expanded their business and became part of the Judith Wright Arts Centre family in early 2022.
