Queensland Music Festival (QMF) – Music Trails

Arts Queensland’s investment of $250,000 through Spaces and Places funding will support QMF with the very first Music Trail, The Outback Trail which will travel through Jimbour, Charleville, Quilpie, Windorah and Birdsville in June and July.
The Outback Trail will showcase home grown music against the backdrop of these spectacular regions with
- Opera at Jimbour at the heritage-listed Jimbour Homestead
- bespoke chamber concert Music for Stargazing at Charleville’s Cosmos Centre
- immersive musical experience Echoes In the Dust in Quilpie
- lyrical Oasis Afternoons in Windorah
Events along the first ever Outback Music Trail are a new way of being able to get to know the diverse people and places of Outback Queensland, all while inspiring a love of diverse music and leaving lasting legacies.
