Corporate information

The Waste Reduction and Recycling Plan 2021-2024 (PDF) outlines activities to:

  • reduce the amount and impact of departmental waste generated
  • improve the way in which the department manages unavoidable waste.

The  Asbestos Management Policy (PDF) outlines underlying principles and obligations concerning the management of asbestos containing material in Arts Queensland facilities.

The Asbestos Register (PDF) identifies the location of materials known or likely to contain asbestos.

  1. You may subscribe via the Arts Queensland Website at www.arts.qld.gov.au (‘Website’) to receive Email Notifications[1] on the following topics:

    (a) Arts sector news, updates and information;

    (b) Funding program information;

    (c) Arts infrastructure updates;

    (d) Surveys and requests for feedback; and

    (e) Website updates.

  2. You may choose to unsubscribe and stop receiving Email Notifications at any time by:

    (a) clicking the ‘Unsubscribe’ link that appears at the bottom of all Email Notifications; or

    (b) emailing communications@arts.qld.gov.au requesting to unsubscribe and stop receiving Email Notifications.

    Subscriber services provided by Vision6

  3. Arts Queensland uses Vision6 Pty Ltd ABN 23 099 766 499[2] (‘Vision6’) subscriber services to provide Email Notifications. Vision6 provides online platforms that can be used to create, send and manage emails.
  4. Upon subscribing, Arts Queensland may provide Vision6 with your Personal Information[3] to generate Email Notifications to the email address you provide. Your Personal Information will be disclosed by Arts Queensland to Vision6 only for communicating to you via email for the purposes of and in relation to the topics outlined in 1(a)-(e) above.

Email feedback to Arts Queensland and analytics

  1. Arts Queensland can access the Vision6 platform to review Email Notifications sent to you, emails you may send in response to Email Notifications and associated analytics. Email Notifications sent to you, emails you may send in response to Email Notifications will be treated as a public record and retained in accordance with the Public Records Act 2002 (Qld) and any other relevant legislation.
  2. Where possible, Arts Queensland will make every effort to respond to your email correspondence sent in response to Email Notifications. Where appropriate, emails sent by you may be forwarded to various Arts Queensland staff members for direct response.

Privacy statement

  1. Personal Information collected by Arts Queensland is handled in accordance with the Information Privacy Act 2009 (Qld). For further information about how Arts Queensland protects your Personal Information or to learn more about your rights to access your Personal Information, please consider Arts Queensland’s Privacy Policy at the Website at www.arts.qld.gov.au/privacy.
  2. By agreement with Arts Queensland, Vision6 is required to handle Personal Information collected by it in accordance with Chapter 2 of the Information Privacy Act 2009 as applicable.
  3. Vision6 has its own Privacy Policy and Vision6 may disclose your Personal Information to third parties in accordance with their Privacy Policy. For further information about how Vision6 protects your Personal Information or to learn more about your rights to access your Personal Information, please consider Vision6’s Privacy Policy available at https://www.vision6.com.au/about-us/privacy-policy.

Subscription Acknowledgement and Consent

  1. By subscribing to Email Notifications, you acknowledge and consent to these Terms and Conditions and to:

    (a) Receipt of Email Notifications;

    (b) Arts Queensland providing your Personal Information to Vision6 in accordance with the Information Privacy Act 2019 and Arts Queensland’s Privacy policy; and

    (c) Vision6 providing your Personal Information to third parties in accordance with Vision6’s Privacy policy.

(a) any use of or reliance by you or others on any Email Notification or the Website, including any information contained therein;

(b) the limited, disrupted, erroneous or non-receipt of Email Notifications or the information contained therein, including  as provided for at 11 and 12 above;

(c) any use of or reliance by you or others on Vision6, its privacy policy or other Vision6 terms of use, including use of or reliance by you or others including on any of the matters referred to in 8 and 9 above

(d) any use of or reliance by you or others on Third party websites and applications, including use of or reliance by you or others on any of the matters referred to in 13 above; and

(e) you or others not receiving any, all, complete or accurate Email Notifications, including due to:

(i) any failure by Vision6 or its third parties or affiliates;

(ii) the insufficient operation of your web access, internet service provider or the email account you provided to Arts Queensland;

(iii) your failure to have any or proper regard to Email Notifications; and

(iv) your failure in regards to the matters referred to in 11 and 12 above.
