Mandy Quadrio: Kukunna Murraweena
Mandy Quadrio, a Trawlwoolway/Tasmanian Aboriginal artist, presents Kukunna Murraweena, featuring steel-wool sculptures symbolising resilience and maternal comfort. Her moving-image work, Tugrannah: A Blak Pause at the Beginning, explores memory and connection through light and sound, including her late sister’s voice. Note: Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander viewers are advised the work contains the voice of a deceased person.

Erika Scott: Cambium Itch
Erika Scott transforms consumer junk into immersive sculptures that blur boundaries between objects, images, and viewers.
Cambium Itch scales up the ‘pin-art toy,’ filling the gallery with discarded materials like PVC pipes and furniture, leaving ghostly impressions of cast-off ideas. Inspired by the cambium layer in plants, Scott metaphorically taps into creative growth by piercing the gallery’s walls.
