Commonwealth Games 2018 – Ideas, dreams and possibilities
The Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games arts and cultural program will surprise, delight, unite and inspire audiences of locals and visitors alike. It will be a celebration for all Queenslanders and an opportunity to leave a lasting legacy for the Gold Coast and Queensland. The program will feature a strong Gold Coast presence with deep investment in the capacity, voices and stories of artists and communities. An open platform has been launched for individuals, groups and organisations to express their interest in participating in the arts and cultural program. Submit your ideas today.
Gordon Darling Foundation
The Gordon Darling Foundation provides funding for a range of Visual Arts projects Australia-wide. Applications are only accepted from organisations that have Deductible Gift Recipient status. The next round closing date is 31 December 2015.
Arts Queensland – Organisations Fund (2017-2020) Draft Guidelines
The Organisations Fund provides multi-year funding to contribute to the core operations of small to medium organisations in delivering arts and cultural activities that generate public value to Queensland. In early 2016, Arts Queensland will be accepting applications for the Organisations Fund (2017-2020).
There are some changes being proposed to the Organisations Fund (2017-2020) Guidelines. These changes are outlined in the Organisations Fund 2017-2020 Draft Guidelines that are now open for consultation until 5pm Wednesday 16 December 2015.
Ministry of the Arts – Catalyst
Catalyst is the Australian Government’s new funding program for the arts. It will invest $12 million each year in innovative projects and initiatives from arts and cultural organisations. Projects by, or that involve, small to medium organisations will be given priority. The fund may also support some gallery, library, archive, museum, arts education and infrastructure projects. Applications can be made at any time.
Australia Council for the Arts – grants
The next round of Australia Council grants for Development Grants for Individuals and Groups, Arts Projects for Individuals and Groups and Arts Projects for Organisations close 2 February 2016.
